About Our Organization
Forward Action Wisconsin Network (FAWN) was born from Pantsuit Nation . Pantsuit Nation began in 2016 as a small, private facebook group of Hillary Clinton supporters. When the group went public, it grew exponentially. The support for our potential first female president was astounding, and group members shared personal stories, hoping to inspire and comfort others. Unfortunately, that glass ceiling remains and America has yet to witness a female president. However, many new local, progressive groups have emerged in the wake of an unsettling, vitriolic election. For many, the election results were unexpected and deeply disturbing. We immediately recognized that the division in our nation was not simply between political parties.
